Generation Z is the first to grow up entirely in the age of the internet and global connectivity.
Shaped by successive global crises others created, their worldview is distinct. They navigate human relationships through the diverse landscape of social media, fostering connections that go beyond stereotypes.
Often seen as "sensitive" and "anxious", Gen Z is also characterized by a strong sense of realism and pragmatism.
They are deeply inclusive in their values, yet selective in where they focus their energy. Regardless of labels, one thing is clear: their time is now. Generation Z is increasingly making its mark on the public sphere, the job market, entrepreneurship, and civil society.
The conference aims to explore the future through the lens of Gen Z. It will examine how the generation challenges traditional institutions, values a renewed sense of security, and redefines the relationship between work and personal fulfillment. Furthermore, it will address the major hurdles they are set to inherit and tackle, most notably the rise of artificial intelligence.
At the conference, young members of Gen Z will come in direct dialogue with distinguished leaders from politics, business, and social life who have been instrumental in building our present. This creates a unique framework for a powerful and meaningful intergenerational conversation.
